What I'm about to tell you is something that we do every day pandemic or not. it's important that you, have a safe or self care plan. And my self-care plan is, is five things diet I'm on the keto diet, intermittent fasting, exercise. I've got some immuno stretchy bands. I got an old, Nordic track. A good night's sleep and we'll come back to how that plays in, in a minute on another tip, medication, if indicated and meditation, medication, by the way, if you, and I would say, if you are, thinking, Hey, I may be depressed, have a tele-health mental health, evaluation. And if medication is indicated, There's now a cheek swab DNA test. They talked to a guy in space who spent a year in the space station pretty much all by himself, except when they were delivering groceries, how they said, did you make it in that kind of social business thing? Like light years? And he said one word - routine. He said, you got to go to bed same time. Get up at the same time, have your meals at thesSame time. Meditation, same time, exercise, same time your Netflix same time. When you're in contact with people and we're more connected than we ever have been FaceTime, zoom, pick up the old fashioned phone and call somebody. Here's what I recommend you do rather than say, Hey listen, was anything ever need? No, be proactive. Do you need to run to the grocery store or the pharmacy? Do you need to need somebody to walk off the dog? Give you a break. Make suggestions. Your grass is getting long. Can I come over and cut the grass? So rather than just go "anything, anytime you ever need anything, give me a call"... suggest things that you think they might need, while they are, cause it may be guaranteeing they may just be socially isolating. They may be depressed and that's why the grass has got long. be proactive and suggest things you are willing to do. http://www.solvecast.com/articles/detail/14589-solving-for-social-distancing-and-mental-health-with-frank-king

Gamification. This is how I get out of bed. Some mornings when I don't want to get out of bed, it's a game. I make a list of six things, a to do list. And when I scratch off number six, Chris. I'll scratch off. Number six, I can go back to bed, pull the covers over my head and binge watch Netflix. Cause I win. http://www.solvecast.com/articles/detail/14589-solving-for-social-distancing-and-mental-health-with-frank-king
