Laura is the author of The Healthy Bones Nutrition Plan and Cookbook published by Chelsea Green in 2016, an evolution of her research into natural medicine for halting and reversing age-related bone loss. The Healthy Bones has been translated into multiple languages and assists thousands of people with not only taking charge of their diagnosis but in returning to health. Laura founded Opal Health in 2019. Opal is a Benefit Corporation built to provide tools for the future of medicine - precision wellness. Opal examines the underlying genetics allowing disease processes to accelerate such as autophagy, senescence, oxidative stress and other inflammatory genetics, and the natural products that regulate these mechanisms in each individual.
