LA-based comedian and professor of parks and recreation.
Originally from southern Illinois, I’ve held the titles of Greene County freckle queen, whitewater raft guide, mobile billboard salesman, and most recently, doctor of parks and recreation. I’ve worked in Death Valley National Park, been fired from Yellowstone (and forced to take a greyhound bus from Cody, WY to Carbondale, IL), and found out I’m not a good whitewater raft guide. My time working in outdoor rec/tourism has provided plenty of material for comedy but also led me to my research focus that centers around improving the working conditions of the tourism workforce. I perform comedy throughout southern California including the Hollywood Improv, Flappers Comedy Club, Mic Drop San Diego, and was selected Best of the Fest at the 2023 Burbank Comedy Festival.
