Retired NYPD Detective-Sergeant,9-11 First Responder, Chief Security Officer,Inventor,Author
I am a retired NYPD Detective-Sergeant from the Joint Terrorism Task Force. I was a first responder and rescue worker at the WTC on and after 9-11. I became the Chief Security Officer for US Bancorp and am a recognized subject matter expert on matters relating to workplace violence program development, threat assessment and management, active shooters, global security, and more. I am a published co-author of the book "Workplace Safety: Establishing an Effective Violence Prevention Program" (2015- Butterworth-Heinemann). I am a frequent keynote speaker and guest on many podcasts. I share my experiences as a NYPD Detective during the most turbulent, crime-saturated days in NYC history. I also share about a federal RICO case that I initiated and ran along with the DEA in which I performed a successful and dangerous undercover assignment in Hong Kong that involved a global heroin distribution network based out of Chiang Rai, Thailand which involved corrupt Hong Kong police officers. I have a wealth of experience and situations to draw from that make a podcast appealing such as my upbringing in a working class section of Queens and my gradual ascent to the highest security position available in the corporate world.
Tell me about yourself, and let's kickstart an amazing podcast episode collaboration.
